So I'm pretty sure the last time I cracked open my laptop was in July for that last blog post. I'm happy to say that through some expensive comfy shoes and a committment to stretching my calves, I've succeeded in bringing down my heel pain considerably!
I had signed up for a 5k and couldn't make it because I am so far behind in being sedentary, and I didn't want to injure my barely healed heels.
October was a blur of candy at my office... so much so that I considered a complete sugar purge/reduction. Instead, I invested in a grill I had access to 3 years ago, and am recommitting myself to batch cooking.
I've been working on a lot of mental self-help, which for me is key in being able to move forward elsewhere.
I don't mind my weight, but I MISS my STRENGTH I used to have (even at this same weight)... as I get older it's harder to ignore. Maybe re-committing sounds empty, but for me it is real, and I remind myself that what's past already happened. It's what I do today and the days ahead that will count for the future.
