Why is my hair getting thin?!

Sunday, November 10, 2019

Lately I've been surprised by how much hair I find all over the place.
Well, not lately, more like past 2 years.
Part of me wondered if getting back on track with my health would mean my hairs stay on my head. Nope.
My doc isn't worried...but I feel like my pony-tail is getting thinner and thinner.
I take Hair and Nail Gummies, and I do feel it helps a small bit.
Maybe hair loss is just part of heading into menopause- as if there isn't already a bunch of stuff going on with my body.
My household of boys and hubs are often perplexed by my concerns, and it's okay. While part of me can't wait to get through this rather disruptive state of being, I suppose it's a better time to embrace this and be glad I don't have any major health scares.

My hairdresser recommended Biotin for me also. It has helped me too.

When I changed my diet drastically, my hair started to thin. I started to take biotin. Thin started to wash hair in Nioxcin shampoo. I alsi added healthy fats like avocado and nuts to diet. It helped a lot.

My hair has always been thin, but now I have thyroid problems & thyroid meds which I understand contributes to the problem. Sometimes I moan to my husband, "I'm going bald!" to which he replys, "So am I." I tell him it looks better on a man!!
