Celebrating another NSV and strengthening lessons learned

Building on the excitement of my shrinking number of faire garb outfits from last weekend, I had another surprise today. I decided to try on a favorite teeshirt that had been a gift and was a size 3x when it was given to me. At the time I was wearing a very snug 4x, well-fitting 5x. With the understanding that the same size can differ somewhat from garment to garment due to several factors, I was thrilled to find the tee I tried on (and proudly wore) fit beautifully!
I now am wearing a size I haven't worn in almost 10 years, since my cancer journey and surgery! (I lost a LOT of weight much too quickly during those months...SO not healthy and definitely not long-lasting. The weight found me again and brought along more weight as I recovered)
SO...lessons being...One step at a time, one day at a time....sometimes one moment at a time. (always remembering while I may often take one step back, I will always take two steps forward.) Excited much...me? Nah....not me
