Hi Everyone reading this update,

This morning I weighed in at 58.2 kg. Not sure this week of my Body Fat Percentage as my mother has our good scales for a change and I have her ones which don't measure Body Fat Percentage.

I've been doing a bit of research on the whole Acid / Alkaline thing within our bodies. Wondering if as well as avoiding inflammatory type foods in my diet being even stricter this way would help with a flair up of Arthritis type symptoms in both my arms that sometimes in some positions can be uncomfortable.

I came across a few articles and a book online that was free to downloaded over 100 pages read it all and enjoyed it about getting your body more alkaline etc...

Started thinking about this again had been doing this a few years ago and the whole food combining thing that goes along with it.

Came across this utube amongst many others I've since watched. This one I found very interesting and has given me definite food for thought.

Especially since I have a testing kit thing at home to test how acidic or alkaline your body is and I did mine over the weekend and I was highly acidic apparently!

Here's the link it goes for about 30 minutes it's an interview I think will give you food for thought also:

Let me know your thoughts on it when you have watched it, I will be very interested to hear other opinions on it.

At this stage i'm loving following my 4 No S diet rules if you like.

NO SECONDS Except on days with S

My intermittent fasting is still kind of happening. But I've decided in order to better space out my natural health supplements. In the Morning first up I'll have something simple and very small to eat just so that I can have my supplements first up.

Like this morning for example I had 3 tablespoons (not heaped) of my Five AM Organic Yoghurt then had my health supplements with water and my liquid minerals.

Then at lunch time around 12.00pm midday i'll have my health smoothie. My nightly dinner meal around 5.30pm - 6.00pm and my night supplements with liquid minerals and D3 Drops then.

What I was finding by waiting to have my morning supplements with my health smoothie anywhere from 11.00am on wards then having the supplements at night again (some of them not all) that It was too close in between both lots of supplements.

Tomorrow morning I may just have 3 organic prunes but always something small, quick and easy not huge big breakfast food amount of toast or eggs or oats or anything else. Just something small to have with my supplements.

At this stage I'm sticking mostly to fish / seafood and a very small amount perhaps only once per week if that of organic chicken. Preferring more plant based foods.

Tonight for example I had a salad in which I added lettuce from the garden, peeled and deseeded one organic tomato (peeled and deseeded to remove those nasty lectins) onion and garlic, hemp seeds pepper and salt (Himalayan) plus a little olive oil and apple cider vinger.

Then I had another salad the same minus the hemp seeds and the lettuce and I cooked up fresh silver beet from the garden and made another salad.

With that I had one potato washed cut in half salted a bit and cooked on high in our oven on the oven rack.

Dinner was delicious and enough for me to be completely full without over doing it. It all fitted nicely on one plate as well. emoticon for No S on that one it saves me weighing and measuring all food. As long as it fits on one plate I'm good to go!

Anyhow that's my update for this week. How is everyone else going? Let me know what you all think of the link when you have had a chance to watch it. We can all share and learn from each other.

Until My Next Blog,
Keep Smiling,

Paula emoticon

i think that inflammation rather than acidity/alkalinity has a big effect on our bodies
just being obese raises body inflammation
coincidentally, most low infammation foods happen to be vegetable, oily fish, olive oil and omega3 grains like flaxseed
check out the anti-inflammatory diet team

Going to watch that video. Have been thinking about the acididity and alkalinity of our body and how it affects my body in particular with Hashimoto's and osteoarthritis. Going to give it a go, I think.

HUGS and keep it up! As always, thanks for the information.
