back at it

I ended up having to leave work 2 hours early because the headache got so bad I was seeing spots and was starting to feel sick to my stomach. Problem was hubby had the car and didn't have his phone, but our nephew who lives with us answered the call and came and got me home.
I walked in, grabbed an ice pack for my head and went to bed for an hour. I got up so my sleep wouldn't be too disrupted but this morn I'm feeling almost normal. There are fuzzy bits around my vision but that is usual post headache stuff and nothing I'm too concerned.
The sun is out today and the library has more folks but so far has not been too loud.
So here is to family who jump in and help when you are in need. Thank God for them. Thank God for pain pills, ice packs, understanding employers, and even kind cats who stay by your side and distract you from the pain with their demands for attention and food. Hubby fed the cat when he got home--after stopping at my work place and discovering I had been gone for 2 hours. Bending over to reach the food dish was more than my head could take last night.
Today I'm back to being me.
