3 nice experiences

I assigned myself a task on the SP newer Start page: write about 3 good things that happened to me today. Well, I'm going to write about my walk on Monday instead, since it was such a nice day.
To start, it wasn't raining! I went to yoga and all my best yoga friends were there and we had a really good class. Sometimes when I finish class, I can't help but smile, at everybody and everything.
On my way to yoga I had a funny conversation with a road crew guy who was trying to make repairs on some poles at an intersection where they're always being run over. I stopped and asked him if the poles were going to last this time. He grinned and replied, probably not. I think I gave him a tiny spark for his day, as who would think to stop and talk to someone repairing a road.
The day turned out beautiful, sunshine, warmth, and just a little breeze. On my walk I had a little conversation with a young maintenance man blowing out somebody's underground sprinkler system. His compressor was extremely loud and I saw he wasn't wearing ear protection so I stopped to remind him. He smiled and pulled out his ear plugs and said he usually stands well away from the machine, but had to be closer to make sure all the water was drained. Then he laughed and said his boss gets the quieter machine. I told him to stick with it and he'd be the boss someday. He laughed and told me to enjoy my walk.
If you can, why not try to make someone else's day a little brighter? Too often we just rush by and try not to make eye contact. I guess I started out in a good mood that day, and I felt like sharing it.
