Had a setback - ate fried chicken thigh - big mistake...ended up with irritable bowel. I lost a few pounds that was inevitable. But I find that I am eating less bread, less pasta, less sugary stuff and no chips. I was so accustomed to having a "handful" of chips with my turkey sandwich for lunch, but after eliminating the chips first, then the bread, I lost some weight and felt better. No more fried foods either. For me, that IS progress. Little by little I will be scrutinizing the high cholesterol and high sugar foods and just stop eating them....Yay!! I look at the ingredients of all packaged foods. I noticed that if it has a long list of ingredients, it's probably better to avoid it.
How long will this last? Will I stay on the right track? Do I want to be healthier and weigh less? These are the questions that keep me going. I don't mind progressing slowly.
What keeps you on the right track?
