It's been over a year since I've been on Sparkpeople. And of course I put on weight and to top it off my July check up with the doctor said I was now prediabetic. I already am dealing with high blood pressure. I didn't want to add diabetes to it. So I did some soul searching. I had a problem with sweets and this last year I just got out of control with it. I had a talk with myself and said food is not worth dying for. There is a healthy and satisfying way to eat. So I did the cabbage soup diet as advised by my neighbor to jump start things. I already lost 3lbs before I started and lost 9lbs on the diet. I'm down 12 lbs now and got back with Sparkpeople. I love the food log and the community and all this app has to offer. I log my food daily and watch how I eat. My goal is to weigh 160 lbs. I have a renewed mind and Sparkpeople will help me reach my goal! Thank God for this app and for all of you as we help each other to be fit and healthy!
