Today I decided to update my weight tracker with my postpartum weight. I had lost 171lbs pre-pregnancy, but gained about 70lbs during my pregnancy. I am heartbroken to see that 171lbs change to 90lbs but I know I need to be honest for this to work. I had considered leaving it at my pre-pregnancy weight until I got back down to it, but not only does that effect my calories burned and such but it robs me of the victory seeing the number change again. It also means anyone following me can join me in that joy!

Yesterday was a great start - I got in 22 minutes on the recumbent bike, 40 minutes of yoga, and came in on target for calories and macros. We got a flat tire last night so no exercise this morning, but since school hasn't started yet I can go down to the gym on my lunch break and ride the recumbent bike. We didn't get to go grocery shopping last night because of the tire so I have some higher calorie frozen meals for lunch instead of my salads. But I am drinking a protein shake this morning so hopefully it balances out.

We had storms and rain on Sunday, but yesterday was beautiful. Last week was awful with a heat index of around 115 most days, but this week is looking much nicer. High 70s and low 80s, with one day peaking at 91. I'm hoping to take advantage this weekend and introduce baby to his stroller. I am planning on taking walks around the neighborhood with him, there is a route around the neighborhood that is exactly one mile. I am signed up for a 2-mile walk in September and a 5K in November and would love to be able to complete them with him.
