This past year + has been a rollercoaster of sadness and joy, hardship and rest. I lost my husband of over 40 years, my home and my vehicle. The good news is that, I am still here! And in the darkest night Jesus has been the light, lighting my path. He has seen me through thus far and will continue guiding me day by day. I did take a break from Keto and put a few pounds back on but today I am getting back into the buisness of living my best life. I have been slowly taking steps toward letting go of the old stuff that I don't have room in my life for now. I am choosing to keep some stuff that blesses me in this new life. I'm also adding new things that are helping me to move joyfully forward. I am excited to see where I'm headed the rest of this year! This is my year!

    Hi Joy,
Sorry, I just got here today. Love your attitude! I am also going through a lot since October 2018. Hubby is diagnosed bladder cancer. After 3 surgeries to remove cancer and 1 BCG treatment, he has to lose his bladder. This particular type of cancer is very aggressive. Also he had wrist and elbow surgery. The next schedule surgery is to remove his bladder will be on Aug 21. There's still another surgery on his rotator cuff and neck.
I am also overwhelmed with daughter since Oct 2018. We have to initiate the process of Financial Aid application for college/university. She graduated High School in May. Happy to say that she will be attending NIU from Aug 26. Moving in day is Aug 23.
Didn't mean to bother you with so many details but I did. Sometimes the road seems long but I have faith in God. That everything will be alright.
Take care & have another blessed day! ^^
    Hugs

Wonderful! You can start a new year anytime it suits you. Good for you for making that decision.
