Rebounding my Fitbit Inspire is counting the bounces as steps

Thursday, June 06, 2019

I've started to do some rebounding. Baby bounces standing up where fit don't lift the mat, and sitting down doing bounces.

The bounces are being counted as steps when I am doing baby bounces on the mat. I haven't checked to see if the bounces sitting down will be counted, but it will be interesting to find out. I will probably do that this afternoon.

On another note, I am working through some sinus issues with a new ENT/head neck surgeon. His wife is my new PCP and they are both local! Which is good.

I recently had several tests done. 3-D mammogram and a bi-lateral with/without contrast and my girls are good.

Also, I see a dermatologist yearly for my moles. That was done yesterday and that was great.

And I had a CT scan done of my sinuses. I have opacification in several areas, specifically in the one cheek, and behind the bridge of the nose. So, I will have to wait to hear back from the ENT doctor. Of course, there is some coughing due to drainage which goes down the back of my throat. Still on Mucinex, and an otc allergy med. Plus using a nasal spray the ENT prescribed which won't burn my nose, and he wanted me to try Xhance. He gave me a sample to see if that might help, it looks like an inhaler but it is not. It is a totally different way to deliver a nasal spray deep into the sinuses. He said that he would check with the company that makes it and said they would call me and let me know whether or not my insurance would cover it. They do not. One unit will last a month but the cost is $500.00. So I don't think I will be going that route.

I will have to wait and see, with all the tests that were done, what the ENT doctor wants to do next.

In the meantime, this too is in God's hands; and I will continue to bounce away!

Best wishes meeting your goals! That rebounding is going to be fabulous. My fitness tracker does not count rebounding as steps unless I move my arms vigorously. Thankfully, even the most gentle rebounding has major benefits and it is so much easier on the joints.

Hope all of the medical issues go well. That's a lot going on at once. Blessings to you!
