Starting Over, One More Time

It's been so long since I made a blog post that I couldn't even remember where to find the links! emoticon

It felt like the unofficial start of summer was a good time to start over. I've made a lot of big changes in my life over the last year, and now that things are settling down, it seemed like a good opportunity to re-evaluate my health and wellness goals.

My weight and fitness are not where I want them to be right now, and there are so many temptations... The temptation to beat myself up. The temptation to take on everything at once. Even a slight niggling temptation to give up.

But as Shawn Mendes sings, "It isn't in my blood!"



So here I am, revisiting some of the things that have helped with past success. For June, my goals are:

1. emoticon Revisit blogging. Posting goals and progress helps me to be accountable.

2. emoticon Go outside and walk every day.

3. emoticon Increase my water intake. Doctor's orders.

4. emoticon Strength train. Haven't done this in ages. I've been a cardio-only girl.

5. emoticon Food journal. I'm pretty good about writing down breakfast, but as the day goes on, I get distracted. I need to have a good idea of where I'm starting so I can make improvements.

6. emoticon Eat more freggies. I'm just bad at this. Always have been.

I think those are reasonable goals... Not too heavy a lift. I'll post more on my strategies to make the goals happen over the next few days. What are your goals for June? I'd love some ideas.
