Yesterday I took a good look at the amounts of fruits and vegetables I was not eating. Recently I have had problems with muscle cramps on my legs and arms at night. I explored this problem online and found that eating too few fruits and veggies can contribute to this problem. Being a borderline diabetic according to my VA doctor I knew I had to be careful with any vitamins which might conflict with my metformin. So I increased the fruits and veggies and besides fresh I am stocking some canned fruits, packed in their own juices. Last night was the first night in weeks without any pains and hope this continues.

We keep a running mixed fruit salad going all week. Can be combo fresh/ canned/frozen. Refresh with more as week goes on.

A lack of potassium and/or magnesium can cause cramps.
