NO PRE Diabetes after 10 years

This journey has been long,but I achieved a major goal this summer. After 10 years of being pre-diabetic, I finally tested normal. I gained some weight back, but because I continue to be careful of what I eat and exercise (though not as regurlarly) I am still within normal range.. Dad died at 75 after being diabetic for 35 years, so I have already done better. He would be proud of me.

Have been using Sparkpeople to track but also joined Eat to Perform last November. Have gained weight since, but I had to do something different. I was consuming very low calories and still not loosing weight. ETP said many of us screw up our metabolism from extreme dieting and long term cutting down of calories, so first we have to fix our metabolism. I am finally on the fat loss phase. Next two weeks I should see the scale move in the right direction. Praying that this works,
