This was the first book I read in April.
I've always enjoyed Nora Roberts books. They have charming charaters and are light, fun, easy reads. This one did not disappoint.
And then came the rest of . . .
I've been a fan of Barbara Delinsky since I read my first book by her ("Finger Prints") back in the mid-80's. "Sweet Salt Air" was enjoyable.
Ruth Ware is a new author to me but I love, love, loved both "The Woman in Cabin 10" and "The Lying Game".
"O M Gee Good!" is a cookbook for the Instant Pot. I love the IP. I used #1 to death and currently have #2 & #3 in regular use in my kitchen. I heard so many people rave over this book that I had to check it out. It's a good book but not my favorite by far. Still I did manage to find some tasty, healthy recipes.
"Beyond the Point" is actually a book I received free to do a review on and I honeslty can't say enough good stuff about it. I loved it. It's about women that go to West Point and become best friends and their lives during school and after graduation. Very good book that I hated to put down.
David Baldacci, as always, is a great read. Love his books. Love his characters.
"Twisted Prey" has to be my least favorite Lucas Davenport book ever. I read it. I tried to like it. I WANTED to like it becuase I love this series but this book was flat, so dull that if it had been a stand alone book I would never have finished it.
And speaking of not finishing it, "In the Fall" was just NOT the book for me. My cousin loved it and recommended it highly. I tried. And I tried and I tried some more. I spent about a week of forcing myself to read another chapter and then another chapter and finally decided it was just not worth my time. It was just boring. I didn't find the characters of interest. Just blah . . .
Happy May! Here's to hoping May brings many good books to read!
