Stepping out in Faith

I'm stepping out in faith!
After seeking the Lord and hearing a message on contentment, that I also blogged about in my previous blog, I received my answer from the Lord regarding my DH's work situation and bible college.
Yesterday, it all came to a head. I mentioned him quitting a month ago and he wouldn't because I desperately need extensive dental work and I was going to use my babysitting money to pay the difference insurance doesn't cover. So we were waiting on that.
But for my DH health, my sanity, and for him to pass bible college, I told him to quit.
We are going to concentrate on finishing this semester, decompress, and find another job.
I pray my loose front teeth in top and bottom won't fall out until I can get them replaced.
God's going to have to work a miracle. As I won't have money or insurance.
But I was reminded,
Question: “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” (Genesis 18:14).
Answer: “Ah Lord God… nothing is too hard for thee” (Jeremiah 32:17).
Evidence: He created the universe out of nothing (John 1:1). He turned Lot’s wife into a pillar of salt (Genesis 19:26). He split the Red Sea (Exodus 14:22). He brought bread from the sky (Exodus 16:15) and water from a rock (Numbers 20:11). He slew 185,000 Assyrian soldiers to save his people (2 Kings 19:35). He caused ravens to bring his prophets food (1 Kings 17:6), He caused a virgin to conceive a child (Luke 1:31). He cleansed lepers (Luke 17:14) and healed the lame (Matthew 15:30) and gave sight to the blind (Matthew 9:30) and hearing to the deaf (Mark 7:37). He fed 5,000 with a few loaves and fish (Matthew 14:20). I could go on and on in the old and the new testament.
So can he provide for our needs? YES!!
I'm setting my affections on the eternal rather than the temporal. Our future ministry is much more important than my temporal needs.
At least my DH will not miss another violin recital!
Our violin recital is this Saturday. He missed last year and would've missed this year too. But now, he'll be here!!
Sometimes the Lord answers prayers in ways you don't think of. I also thought concentrating on all these bible verses were for my DH and yet, they were for me.
For me to step out in faith.
I'm standing on Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
