April Goal...or April Fools?

I made it back to Cardio Tone today. Good class. The instructor mentioned a challenge she threw out to her daughter once at the beginning of a month - do just one good pushup on the 1st. And add one each day. Well - that doesn't really interest me...BUT...what if I ran/jogged 1 minute on April 1? And 2 minutes on April 2? And so on and so on?. Now - THAT would be challenge. SO - after class, I hopped on the treadmill. Walked a couple minutes, jogged my minute, walked another couple minutes and hopped off as I had things at home I needed to get to, thus not walking longer. The runner next to me gave me a smarmy look as I hopped off, but that's ok. As I did this, I ran through my 'rules' - the jogging/running minutes don't have to be consecutive - as long as I run that day's number in a session, it's going to count. If I end up being able to run 30 consecutive minutes at the end of April - great. If not, at least I'll be running 30 minutes in one day. Can I do this? More importantly - WILL I do this? Yes - I will. (I tell myself with a two fists).

Actually, I should reverse the challenge - start at 30 and go backwards, that way it will get easier... emoticon

Ok - challenge made. Challenge accepted. Now to see challenge accomplished.
