Two busy weeks!

Wow, didn't realize it had been so long since I blogged. I've been logging and tracking but I've been crazy busy, two weeks of work travel so something's gotta give, I guess!
I always have a hard time staying on track food-wise when i travel and these trips were no different. I did the best I could and managed to keep exercising too. And have been doing reasonably well since my return to reality.
Yesterday was a good day but not perfect. A couple blips, but I was able to resist the glass of wine offered me at the evening neighborhood meeting, and didn't eat any of the cookies I brought. Yay me!
Yesterday was my last day with my trainer, I will miss her but now that we have the gym in the basement, it will be easier to get myself there! I did a good half hour run on the treadmill this morning at 6 am and actually enjoyed it. I realized it will be a good tool to get my speed back up a little, since it keeps me at a steady pace. I am not talking about any sprints here, a good 13 minute mile pace is currently a bit of a stretch for me, and I alternate between that pace and a 15 minute mile walking pace. I plan to do strength training or boot camp-type videos 3 days a week and I'm looking forward to getting back to yoga on Monday morning. A great way to start the week.
