I'm up 1 and a half pounds this week, not surprising given that I struggled unsuccessfully to stay on track. Between stress and happy hours and increased exercise, I've been hungrier and less equipped to resist cravings.
I'm giving myself credit for exercising more. I'm having a 30 Day Shred challenge with my daughter in law, sending each other pictures at the end of each workout. Accountability!
Also credit for staying away from those Girl Scout cookies in the freezer. They're still there, and I was able to label my craving for them each time it popped up. They are going to work with me and my husband this week, and I'll plan to eat a couple.
I'll give myself credit for losing an average of almost a pound a week since mid-January. I am down 5 and a half pounds. It tells me I can do this.
And finally, credit for continuing to try, drawing the line where I can, planning and tracking. If I keep doing this, I'll succeed.
Here's to persistence and perseverance! We can do this!
