Feeling great and working toward my goals

Went to the doctor today and I am down 12 pounds in 3 weeks. Since the beginning of the year I am down almost 20 pounds which is my first goal. It feels great to be making progress and seeing results. My pants are loose, and I can tighten my belt several holes. I wish that I had taken all of my measurements on January 1st so I could quantify the loss in inches, but I did take measurements this weekend. I can’t wait to see the inches gone when I measure again in March.
Today a coworker commented that they could already see a difference. I don’t always see the progress in the mirror, so it is nice to hear. Even before I started focusing on losing weight she would encourage me to bring my lunch more often. I have been consistently bringing my lunch to work and that has also helped save money.
I am looking forward to meeting the next goal and blowing past it!
