"Back Home" and Cleaning!
Sunday, January 13, 2019
I had a good cleaning day. I got the dishes all done and put away. I got the kitchen Christmas decorations put away and the Christmas plates packed up. I have about two more projects in the kitchen before it's "done." But yesterday was definitely good progress. I went to the grocery and picked up DH's prescriptions. The roads weren't too bad...just slushy/messy. I'm not sure how much snow we have ended up with.
I ate in range...again at the top of the range. The scale today showed a drop. Yay! I love it when I get a little scale encouragement. It occurred to me yesterday that the past two times that I have been successful in weight loss, it was with programs that allowed me to eat what I want but that gave me a limit on the amount of food to intake...with the most recent success being with SP.
I really feel comfortable being back with SP...like coming home. Tracking my food is reassuring and peaceful. It gives me a measure to see where I am at with my eating for the day. It gives me the opportunity to plan and decide how to "spend" my calories throughout the day.
Today will be another day of more cleaning. I intend to approach it as I did yesterday...allowing myself breaks and not working too hard on it. I know that when I overdo and get overwhelmed, that is when I have problems with my eating. So, I am avoiding that and allowing myself the time I need to accomplish the tasks that are necessary.
Hope you all have a great day! Keep up the good work! Thanks for the encouragement! Spark on!
