Weigh Day

I didn't gain this weight in one week, so I should be happy with 1.6# lost, and I am even though I had hoped for more because of my hard work and staying on track. Still, as I said, I didn't get this extra poundage overnight. It happened one trip to DQ at a time, one sedentary day at a time!

So I will not only content myself with this one and a half pound loss, but will actually celebrate it, congratulating myself for a job well done, mission accomplished! emoticon emoticon I also lost an inch in my waist. emoticon

One thing that keeps me motivated is seeing my stomach flatter. Yes, it is quite a bit flatter, side view in the mirror. No bloating, because I've kept to the diet and have added Bragg's Organic Apple Cider Vinegar "tea" to my morning routine. Also, doing the isometric exercises (the only kind that I'm able to do) on my tummy has helped me keep it tucked in.

So all in all, I consider this first week back at Spark People to be personally successful and will continue the month of August at my Serenity Health and Fitness Camp. emoticon
