Smaller Goals could be Greater Success

I realize now that maybe I created goals that didn't quite meet me where I'm at.
I know for some having a Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) can kick a butt into gear, but after months of quite the opposite effect, I'm going to try downsizing for a change.

Rather than 10K per day...I'll switched to 6K .
Instead of Going to the Gym 5 times a week...I've ditched that for stretching 2 times a week, and keeping my 30-minutes activity a day.
I want to set myself for incremental success, rather than bombing it most of the time, and blitzing it at other times. My ultimate goal is consistency in a progressive way.

    Totally totally agree with this. Last diet (spring 2017): I obsessed over my food, introduced a bunch of new items and recipes all at one time, worked out an hour each day, and went to the gym 3-4 days a week. Then I started getting depressed when I finished working out. It was so weird. This diet (spring 2018): I am making small changes, cutting calories slowly, eating my normal, healthy foods, and increasing my activity instead of forcing myself to do workouts. I am losing more slowly this time, but this is definitely less stressful and more sustainable. Yay us!!
