Week One BL Challenge Overview

Lost 3 lbs

This week we bought a new scale, love it. I have been buying freezer meals to prep healthy meals so that if I get busy with the kids or work we don't order out. I have actually been doing this for a few months but started to do take out and my weight jumped 10lbs since Christmas. I didn't have any wiggle room to begin with, so that wasn't good. Glad to be getting back on track. This week I felt very unmotivated at first, I had some medical issues that I didn't even realize, but are working through them. I am trying to listen to my body and be respectful while pushing it out of its comfort zone so things change. I recognized some specific areas in my life that have led to weight gain and now realize I need to manage my response accordingly. Overall life is good and things are starting to look up again. I am enjoying finding ways to take better care of myself and indirectly those around me.

On to week two.

Congrats on your weightloss. Unlike you I only lost 1 lb but I was surprised to have even lost that. I had stepped away from meal planning and there was a lot more carbs where there is normally salads for lunch. I'm doing it but I'm not feeling 100% motivated. I was hoping the challenge would change that for me.
I was doing really good last year. I lost 30 pounds from January till June and managed to maintain over the summer but when renos started in the house I gained back 12 pounds ... I still have 5 more to go to get back my 30 lb loss badge. The struggle is real.

Sorry to hear of your health issues. Hopefully it's nothing too serious.
Good luck in week two of the challenge. You're off to a great start!! emoticon
