Looking at the whole picture!

December 30. 2017. I weighed myself and took my waist, hips and thighs measurements. On January 31rst, 2018, I weighed myself; ONLY a 3.5 pounds lost! I had been going to the gym, eating smaller portions, watching what I ate, how could that be??? I decided to keep at it. I had more energy and I went to bed earlier, was more rested and overall felt better.
On February 3rd, I believe it was, I put on a pair of jeans that were to tight, when buttoned, it hurt at the waist to sit.... but not today! I took my measurements again, Surprise! I had lost 6 1/2 inches in three areas alone; thighs, waist and hips!
So just to say we can't just go by the scale. Muscles weigh more so gym was working in other ways - inches off.
If we stick with it we'll get results but not always where we think we should . Just don't give up!!!
