Takings Some Time Off

Sunday, February 04, 2018

I'm sorry I haven't been around much on SparkPeople lately, but life sometimes has a way of taking over things.

Our current house (built in 1965) has been one maintenance nightmare after another, and we have finally decided to move. We have a contract on a house about 5 miles away, and we hope to start moving in a couple of weeks. After the move is complete, we will spending a couple of months making repairs to this place in order to sell it. Needless to say, we have been very stressed about everything, and all of our time has been spent packing. Since this is not going to let up for awhile, I'm going to take some time off of SparkPeople while we get everything taken care of.

Friends, I have really enjoyed talking with you and I do plan to be back in a few months. Do take care of yourselves, and I hope to see you again soon.

Oh Bill, I hope you get some help even with the move. Don't want to injure those fishing arms!!
Praying you get settled in and enjoy the new digs.
Keep in touch and I cannot wait to see the new place!

I'm glad you found a house you liked so close to your current home. Just taking time off can be better then going through the motions. Put your Spark energy into watching what you put in your mouth. Packing and moving is great exercise, but a 30 minute walk or half a round of disc golf will lower the stress.

    Take care.

Best of luck with the transition. Moving is hard work, and home repair is double that. You've got your work cut out for you, but you have a plan and that's the first step! Congratulations.
