According to Spark, I have lost 10 lbs. According to WW, I have lost 9.2 lbs. Still - loss is a loss! Today is my 1 month on WW "anniversary" so.... pretty productive month of losses if I may say so myself? Especially since I'm hypothyroid and every pound is a battle. My husband handed me one of his 10 lb weights and said "Here, that is what is gone now" and WOW! CRAZY!
I've been fighting a migraine for three days now. My goal until this passes is just to keep my eating in line. I am chugging water in hopes that it helps as well. My fitness trackers are going to be pretty mad at me this week for this lag, but sometimes you have to treat your body with more care. I managed a slow walk last night and I may try for another today. I'd really like to go to bed!
Speaking of fitness trackers, both WW and my apple watch have noticed my increase in activity. They both have suggested I up my goals. I did - and I met them! They suggested it again yesterday but I declined, seeing as how I'm already behind due to the migraine.
Still a little miffed with the level of "support" and interaction on the WW app. There are SO many people asking for motivation and saying how they can't stick to the plan. I know this sounds selfish but - I feel like I have some next level challenges with my eating and if I can stay on plan, others sure can. My typical decision process for food now goes something like "What's the ballpark on points? Oh wait, does this thing have dairy?" or vice versa. Some people can just pick out points, I can't. And I am sticking to it even with that extra step every time! Also, I feel like YOU really need to be the ultimate source of motivation or it will never work. Thats my two cents.
This week may be a bit tough. I am SO fortunate that my mother in law is AWESOME and is making a dairy free Thanksgiving! I am going to try to stick to smaller portions of everything. I am in charge of the veggies, so I'll be loading up on those as well. I decided to make a mix of roasted veggies (like squash and peppers) and some seasoned green beans.
The holidays are a super tough time, but I really want to continue to see losses on the scale! My inability to eat dairy has definitely made surviving parties a bit easier - I can't have a lot of the stuff, so I can't eat my way through them anymore lol. But now that I have seen progress, I want to see more, and that is also helping me push through.
Random shift here - Anyone out in Sparkland have an Instant Pot? Everyone seems to have one so I threw on on my holiday list, now to figure out what to do with it! I'm also curious about an air fryer since I heard you could make zero point jicama fries in it lol. I am trying to hold off on shopping or asking for anything for myself besides things like shoes and house stuff, trying not to buy clothes until I'm really ready for smaller sizes!!
I think that is it for now! Hope you guys have a happy Thanksgiving!
Oh yes, and Bea girl is in her full winter mode already:
