CNNs Story About Me and My Weight Loss Foibles
Monday, October 23, 2017
Not fake news. Maybe more than a tad biographical (about me), but certainly not fake.
Most people who meet me in the real world find me "Type A." Maybe this shines through in some previous blogs. Maybe not. That small handful of you who have met me in real life will so attest.
So today, CNN does a whole story on the special weight loss challenges faced by people who suffer with terminal Type A Personality Disorder. Yep, in other words, me.
So let's see. From the article...
"You're either all in, or you're all out." - Of course.
"If you're on a strict diet but it's your birthday, you'll avoid cake at all costs." - Definitely.
"Feeling like one little misstep will derail you..." - Uh-huh
"...You are intensely committed to exercise and don't leave room for feeling sick or tired or wanting to change the workout you had scheduled..." OMG, guilty as charged.
"... You're not getting enough sleep to wake early and work out..." - Pass the coffee please.
"If you're following a rigid weight-loss program, going out to eat..." - sucks.
"The benefits of having a Type A personality include finding security in the structure and rigidity of diet and workout programs..." - So there is something good?
