Haven't updated in awhile

Sunday, October 22, 2017

Hello all. I haven't blogged in a couple of months but have logged in here daily to track food and excercise and to read how everyone is doing. I reached my goal weight in the middle of September and have been on maintenance. I am still losing weight though I am trying to stay in a 3 pound range of my goal. I have gone 6 lbs. below my goal at some points. It is hard to find the right balance for me. I am pretty thin and have had long ongoing struggles with an eating disorder for 35 years. It is difficult for me to not become obsessed with food and excercise. I am in therapy but that has never really helped me battle the demons in my head. I have been at a much lower weight than I am at now and was hospitalized many times with life threatening complications. I am trying to find my peace day by day. It is hard. I hope you all can find your peace as well. My husband and I took a trip to NH. yesterday to see the Fall foliage. Such a beautiful day. God bless.

Bless your heart. Eating disorders are the pits. Mine was diet/binge. It had nearly ruined my health. But I am conquering the "malady" with faith in God and prayer. The more I accept myself as imperfect and love myself anyway the more progress I make. You can do it too sweetie. God bless you.
