Is water really necessary?

Sorry if you are looking for a blog on drinking H20. I do, have, and hopefully, will always drink water. It is my favorite liquid.

This is about the wonderful water well experience...ugh! If you own a well, you have to have a pump and a holding tank (pressure & holds some water), luckily, not too close to the house. I went out to check on something near the pump and found my tank leaking. It took a week to get a new one. Everyday I checked the tank to make sure it wasn't getting worse and waking up in the middle of the night worrying that water might be pumping out all over my yard. You see, I've had experience with both ends of the spectrum; a well went dry, and we were without water for almost 6 weeks, another time a pipe that carries the water to the house came loose and the well pumped for hours leaving a small pond in my yard. Both are things you don't forget easily.

Through dealing with one of the basics of life that I don't know how to fix, I came up with a survival list for plumbing emergencies;

2. Turn off the electricity to the pump.
3. Call a professional.
4. Realize that I have survived a few days without water before, I can do it again.
5. Celebrate when water is pouring out of the spout like it is supposed too....daily!!!!!!!!

Celebration in progress!! And yes, water is necessary inside and outside of your body!!!
