Trolling is a fishing term for those of you who may not be fishers. We would fish for bluefish in the Chesapeake Bay when I was growing up by trolling. You would drop your line and then whoever was driving the boat would move along very slowly. It was slow and boring. I did not like this style of fishing. I like the action of dropping anchor and fishing the regular way. I like quick results.
Losing weight is a lot like trolling. Long and boring and the reward is slow in coming most weeks. I would love to just twitch my nose and ta da "a new me". Remember, I like quick results. It's just not going to happen that way. The last few weeks, I feel like I have been playing with the same pound, up and down, down and up. I have not been sticking to my plan. I need motivation. I need to stick to it.
I am helping at Choir Camp this week for our tour Choir (middle school). The menu is not too healthy ( linguine, hot dogs, spaghetti, chicken tenders, mac and cheese). I can still have this but I need to pay attention to portion size. That is easier said than done. Tomorrow is spaghetti day. Portion control is the name of the game!!
