Make a new plan, Stan!

I've noticed that when I have a plan, I tend to get better results. Lately, I have been grabbing whatever I can find available in the kitchen. I know this is not a good approach for me for the long haul. I also haven't been cooking or meal prepping as much as I have in the past. Rather than try to architect a big, elaborate plan, I have decided it is better to approach this in smaller chunks -- two day chunks to start. That way, I find it less overwhelming. From an exercise standpoint, I have signed myself up for two group exercise classes at the YMCA. I am doing Zumba on Wednesday evening and on Thursday, I will try TRX for the first time. I'm a little nervous about TRX. Never tried it and the instructor has more of a "boot camp" style to her teaching, so it'll be intense, no doubt. I also need to do some meal planning over the next day or so. Time to revisit some old recipes that I haven't made in a while. It's been a good six months since I tracked my food intake in earnest. I also plan to take better stock of what I am eating each day. When I saw the most dramatic results last year, I noticed that I was also tracking my food fairly religiously. Aiming to increase my intake of plant-based proteins also. Earlier this year, I was far more diligent and noticed that my weight seemed to be more stable. When I eat less of it and fewer veggies, I notice a gradual creep up in weight. I'm not an early riser by any stretch, but there's a much more likely chance that I will wake up early if I have a group exercise class scheduled. TRX on Thursday will be the test.
