Fell off the wagon

Wednesday, July 12, 2017

Well I have a confession to make since the confrontation with my therapist's supervisor over the phone my eating disorder took a turn for the worse. Two days over 2000 calories I am so upset about it right now too. On top of that I am unable to work out because of an infection on my left leg. When I do work out the infection weeps. Sigh!

I lifted immediate prayer on your behalf for healing in all areas of life & especially for the infection on your leg to be healed in record time. Remember that there is nothing too difficult for our Abba Father & He has a perfect plan to unfold in every trial He allows into the life of one of His kids.

I am reminding myself of that fact as we "Visions" face our own set of trials (concern with another eye ulcer on a cornea in our Little Gal's eye & totally unexpected insurance company mandated pain medication change for my beloved MrV = they no longer will pay for the medication that has worked well for some thirty years now).

Remember, precious sister-in-Christ, that our Abba is sovereign in all things & we can trust Him with all of our concerns.

    God bless!

I am an emotional eater too. I have noticed that as I age it does get better. I still turn to food when I'm upset but not like I used to. So there is hope that strong emotions will not always drive eating. Take care of your infection, slowly decrease food intake and give yourself a break. Someone you trusted has violated the trust you freely gave so your emotions are high. May the Lord heal your heart and bring you peace. In Jesus' name.

Sorry about your infection on your leg. Get well! Then take one day at a time. Stay calm and get back on track. You can do this!

I'm sure they tell you in your program that getting mad at yourself actually makes the behavior more likely again later. Just do your best to hold out against what you know is risky eating. Show your mind that you want to support your leg healing so you are going to concentrate on quality food.

So sorry to hear of your situation......do what you need to do to clear up the infection so you don't add to your worries.....try not to focus on what you can't do or what you have done wrong because you have no control over that.......think about what you can do and have done right...find something to put a smile on your face to day and know there is always a do-over tomorrow....... emoticon

So sorry. I know we each have our own triggers. I hope you find yours so things get easier for you to control. Good luck.

Take it easy so the infection clears up. You definitely don't need it to keep or get worse. Small changes in eating will get you back on track. I know how difficult it is. Hugs
