WE COULD NOT CELEBRATE 4TH OF JULY.....

Tuesday, July 04, 2017

We could not celebrate July 4 if it were not for the brave dedicated veterans who fought for our freedom. Even as some hear the words sung "...the bombs bursting in air" and hear the loud booming of the celebrating they are terrorized by flashbacks or have heartbreaking memories. Many gave their lives so we can have a better life. Some who did come home are giving their lives for our country also ...they are slowing dying because if the chemicals they were exposed to during their time of service. Last month my husband was one of those victims and passed away (just three weeks after my mom passed away right before Mother's Day). Its been a long hard year or two lately and the main reason l have not been online here much.

So before we go out just enjoying another holiday today lets remember those who give their all to protect us and thank those who are still with us.

God bless America!
But more importantly
AMERICA... BLESS GOD!!

I am so sorry to read of your loss. I agree we need to pray for our country and the men who serve to protect us. We also need to pray for the women and children that are at home waiting on them.
I know the Lord will lead you and comfort you in this time. He will lead you in the way he wants you to go.
He is always there in this adventure called life. Enjoy your memories they will always be there. Look also to the future the Lord has more for you to do.
Love you and praying for you.

Glory I am so sorry to hear about your great losses in recent days.
One of the many things that comforts me in times of great loss is a number of things found in the word of God that we as his children have for solace. Of course we know we will see them again and it will be for all of eternity.
The other scripture verse that is helped me before is this life is but a vapor of smoke " and I am sorry I can't remember where it is found at the moment but it's like blink of the eye and it will be over with and then we will be there once and for all in our true homeland and God will be there to meet us and wrap his warm loving arms around us and wipe away every tear as he promised in revelations.
And one morning when I was visiting with the Lord I told him I believe the end is very close and I am sure I heard his soft whisper say, "Sooner than you think."
Isn't it something for God's children that in times of pain and suffering it is his word that will bring us the greatest comfort and strength . The Joy the Lord is our strength !
Bless you glory and I will be praying for you . emoticon

I had one just move into the neighborhood and he is nice. I don't fire off fireworks, most of my neighbors don't do that but we can hear them around us. Sorry for the loss of your mother. emoticon

Thank you for posting this blog. We owe a lot to those who stepped up and gave their lives or their well being to insure that we can continue to live free. My husband is a 20 year veteran: 10 Navy and 10 Air Force. He was proud to serve. I love going to the bases and seeing all the young people standing in his place and in the place of all the others who have retired or gone on. My God give you peace in your great loss of your husband. He is one of the heroes we need to remember every day. God bless America!
