How Can Imitation Food Be Good For You?

I did a search on imitation food here on SparkPeople! OMG! I saw too many saying they loved imitation -name your poison here- ! WTH? You're not doing your homework!

So I started "data mining" the web 'cause us nerds are good at it! I even found a certain cancer affected support organization listing the positives of imitation crab! Really? As a Cancer survivor, I call B#@!$#!&!

I continue to preach self-education on this journey! Too many believe outdated untruths about health and need to get the up-to-date facts! SparkPeople provides enough material to get you in the right direction. Search, Read, Learn!


I'll bet there are diabetics (I'm a former Type 2) who eat "imitation": and don't realize their numbers are being dangerously skewed!

I used to think so many foods were impossible to be on my "diet!" But I'm living a "Healthy Lifestyle" now and "imitation" just doesn't fit in! The journey involves exercise. It involves eating "clean." It involves good habits. I'm far from perfect but am constantly dumping foods that have chemicals inserted within, affected by pesticide residue, or just plain polluted and more! I've even found nutrition foods, drinks, and suppliments poisoned by the stuff!

A proper balance of exercise and nutrition will get us to our goals! But we have to educate ourselves to know what is good and bad for us. Nutrition is part of the foundation to good health. Guess what! You can start right here....
