Good Enough - or, Why do I keep starting over?

Why do we keep starting out so well and so excited, and then ultimately not succeeding? This question comes up so much - here are my thoughts. And yes, I'm still a work in progress...

If you don't believe that you are truly worthy and deserving of health/beauty/love/whatever, then you will continue to sabotage yourself.

So the most important (and maybe hardest) step is to change your beliefs. This will take ongoing work, as these are deeply rooted and will keep coming up again and again.

Affirmations:
I AM WORTHY!
I AM GOOD ENOUGH!
I DESERVE TO BE (healthy / beautiful / loved / strong / ____)!

    Daily affirmations! I have found some awesome ones by looking up Chakra affirmations. I have them written in a notebook that I try to remember to read to myself each morning (but often forget.) You are SO right though, loving oneself can be really hard if we weren't taught how (or the opposite) as children. My hardest lessons have involved UNlearning many harmful, self-defeating attitudes. You can do this though. I believe in you. It helps to learn to treat yourself like you would your very best friend. We often treat ourselves worse than we would an actual enemy!

    I believe the same, Its easier to eat the problems away but it just turns into another problem. Have to believe your worthy of feeling good about yourself. It starts inside then it will happen on the outside in time.
