2 Good Things I Did For Me Today: 1) worked on my planner during downtime at work and 2) wrote!
I could have done better on water yesterday, but I was struggling to drink that third litre during work, so I had to drink it when I got home before bed. But I wrote some. I really want to write more.
Got up and walked the dogs this morning, then had my health screening for work. My BP was 117/74, which is probably the best it's ever been. Even though I have not gotten skinny training for this race, the important stuff has improved. My BP has gone down, and my cholesterol improved as well (thankfully, my blood sugar is always solidly good, but we worry about it since my dad has diabetes).
Went to therapy this morning, and we talked about my anxiety about the race. I feel a lot better. Georgia is a very, very wise woman. I am grateful to have found such a wonderful therapist. We also talked about the importance of 'me time' and how I need to schedule it in on my planner just like I would a long run or a shift at work.
