Trying to eat more veggies - added another recipe!

I was shopping at the grocery store today and they had canned vegetables on sale. I remembered an old WW recipe (1980's) called Hungarian Style Green Beans & Tomatoes. This was one of my favorites and easy to prepare.
Recipe as follows:
1 can (14.5 oz.) french style green beans
1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes
1 tsp. paprika
1/3 C chopped onion
2 tsp. olive oil (original recipe called for diet margarine)
Saute the onion in olive oil until tender. Add the tomatoes, green beans and paprika. Heat through. I added pepper and garlic powder.
The original recipe called for fresh green beans and tomatoes. You can always use fresh ingredients for this recipe. I have made it both ways. Using fresh ingredients takes a little longer to prepare, but you could prepare it in the slower cooker as well. Simple and very tasty.
I will eat this for a couple more days, just adding another can of beans, tomatoes and seasoning. If there seems to be too much liquid just drain the cans before adding.
An easy way to get more vegetables added to my meal. I had a piece of baked fish and the green beans for lunch today. Very satisfying!
