Need help please

Thursday, April 06, 2017

I have just returned to work after off for 14 months and 2 surgeries on my knee. The problem i am having is i can eat a decent breakfast but due to my job its hard to find time to eat lunch. Today i ate my lunch after i got off at 3pm. Not good. What are some good healthy luch items to eat on the go. I need to stay between 1200 to 1550 per day. I am afraid that i will gain back what i lost if i dont eat lunch. My exercise is now pushed to evenings before i use to do in morning before i ate. Any help would be great.

Protein, protein, protein! I find that a little bit of protein goes farther than a bit of fruit or veg. :) although a nice go to snack to nibble on are petite baby carrots.

Cheese sticks, nuts (but don't overdo them), fruit, peanut butter and celery, steak jerky (not the regular thin beef jerky - I get steak jerky at Costco), protein muffins you make at home. Remember to eat a carb its protein for better insulin control.
