The Progressions of Life

I began shadowing the position yesterday for my internship position that begins on the 13th. It is so exciting to be there with the kids I'll be working with and to be with the other therapists. I know I am where I am supposed to be and it feels incredible. I got to go to juvenile court and see what goes on there, and saw the way the judge, the defense attorneys, the prosecutor, the probation department, and my treatment program all work together for the sake of these kids. There were a couple of things that made me shake my head, but I can't go into it due to confidentiality, but it was pretty ridiculous.

In November I spent quite a bit of money buying clothes for work, and yesterday I put on a pair of grey pants that I hadn't worn yet. They fit me perfectly snug in the butt when I bought them, but yesterday they fell completely to the floor, after a 20# weight loss. It felt amazing! Also, I was able to wear a beautiful mint colored blouse of my mothers on Tuesday night for a date, and I looked really great in it.

Rick took me to meet his close friend and her husband Tuesday night and we went to dinner. It was a great night. I really loved his friend, and we spent the entire night laughing. It was so much fun!
