Had to turn in my initial blood sugar readings today to the gestational diabetes dr office. She didn't like my fasting #s being over 90, but she's giving me until next Monday to see how I do and recommended more protein at night. I really prefer the diabetic education lady over the dr in that office. She's so much more reasonable and less doomsday. Got some extra info as well. Baby is measuring big, but she said he just looks to be overall big, ~90th percentile, and belly isn't measuring excessively large. Plus he's not measuring 2 weeks big, more like 8 days. And, I mentioned if they want me to start coming in 2x/wk at $40 copay, that's going to be hard, and she said they have some options if that's the case if it comes to it. Overall, feeling much better today about the whole situation.
