Countdown to 48 - Day 20

As usual, I have such a better report to make on a weekday than I ever would on a weekend. I just flounder on the structure-less days of the weekend, and do so much better during the week, when everything from waking up to going to bed is predictable and scheduled. And of course Sunday was even harder than usual because of the Super Bowl, and a party filled with hors d'oeuvres of all kinds.. You try to be good, but honestly, who's going to choose salad over nachos? Veggies with dip over mac n cheese? Never mind the stress of watching my Patriots during the first half of that game, they were unrecognizable! And then the stress of watching them mount their comeback. And then the celebratory eating once they won.. Well, you see the problem.

But in spite of it all I am happy to report that the scale did not go up, it just didn't go down. I'll take that, not in the long run, but certainly in the short term.

    I'm with you on the weekend stuff. And this being Super Bowl weekend didn't help AT ALL!! If you're 'good' 5 or 6 days and 'bad' only one... it's still better than being 'bad' for 5 or 6.

    Head up, shoulders back... You got this! I've got 114 days to 50... Not even close to where I should be. Gotta suck it up and get serious!
