The Plan - by Lyn-Genet Recitas- Day 1

About 2 years ago I came across "The Plan" By Lyn-Genet Recitas . She encourages a person to go on a 3 day cleanse to remove inflammation and toxins in your body. Then you slowly "test" how your body reacts to other foods after eating them by noting weight gain or loss in addition to symptoms you feel in your body. She stresses that the number on the scale is just an indication of how your body reacted to the foods you ate.
Somethings I am going to watch while eating The Plan
- weigh loss
- sugar cravings
- emotional stability (especially PMS)
- joint pain
- sinus stuffiness
- heart burn
Yesterday was DAY 1. I was spot on eating what I should I was hungry and irritable between the meals though. I drank my water for the day. I was tired after lunch and did sneak in an hour nap. I felt much better after that. I felt bloated and gassy most of the day but I think that was TOM coming.
I weighed this morning and I was down 1.2 lbs so yesterday was a friendly day for me. I also woke up before my alarm and feel alert and awake- instead of wanting to stay in bed. I bought some dandelion tea last night to enjoy in the mornings. I was really looking forward to it this morning and it was good!
This is a long haul process and I need to keep going, not look for quick weight loss.
I am a part of a professional choir that bases about an hour and a half from here. We are traveling to Duke University to perform this weekend. I will do my best with eating and get back on track on Monday when I return. I will stick with my No wheat, Sugar or Caffeine while I am gone and finish reading The Plan book.
