Terry 10/4/16

Tuesday, October 04, 2016

okay. well I know a little more now. yesterday, Terry went into have pics taken of her brain and the doctors were going to fix the aneurysm if it was at all possible. well, that was not possible. i'm thinking if you have to go up into someone's brain whether it is through the leg or whatever, um get everything done the first time, right?
well, they could not. the doctor that did that surgery yesterday consulted with other doctors today and came back to tell Terry that her vessels are weak on her right side, so they are going to give it time to heal. in a week, they will go back in and try to fix it.
i'm honestly not even fully comprehending what an aneurysm is so "it" is what exactly. all I know is my very good friend is in the hospital and that is where they are keeping her till "it" is fixed. so anyone who wants to clue me in, feel free. thank you.
what I've been told is it could kill her. it could cause her to have a stroke.
we are going to see her this weekend. road trip to Strong Memorial on Saturday for me and Ashlea!!!

I've been praying for Terry, and for you and Ashlea. I know you visited Terry, and that there was another surgery coming up. Keep us posted. Praying all goes well!

An aneurysm is a ballooning-out of an artery in the brain. It's like a balloon that develops an area that poofs out. It's an area of weakness that often (depending on where it's located) can be "fixed" using a stent to keep the vessel open and strong.

Wishing your friend all the very best.
