I haven't blogged in some time.
There is just so much going on.
It is hard to claim time for myself.
Well for Mike and I both.

As this past week end approached, we thought we had a clear week end and could do whatever we wanted.

I'm not exactly complaining...but...
Our grandson's birthday was on the 8th. My D-I-L and I had discussed this a couple weeks ago. She said that she didn't want to have the huge birthday party this year, that she usually does. So she said she thought they'd go over to her folks on a day and then to our house on a different day.
Fine, sounds like a plan.
{They still live in a pretty small apartment and really aren't very able to have many people over. Especially since neither of us sets of parents, minds at all having them over and we have plenty of space.}
Well, we never discussed, which day? or days?
But...I should have known.

So our other sons were asking us (on Saturday), what time on Sunday?
Blake's birthday deal?
Oh My, We weren't told. So quickly on Saturday we had to make a run to town to buy Blake's gift and get the needed groceries.
And we had a little party!
It was fun, not complaining, but I wish I would have known ahead of time.
We bought Blake a Pokemon shirt that has a fuzzy Pikachu on it and a Pokemon nylon wallet. He really seemed to like the wallet. We put some 1$ bills in it and silver dollar and a Culvers gift card. Just like a big boy. He is already 7. Where did that time go?

My physical issues!
I am still doing P.T. every-other-week.
I have added acupuncture.
Then I fell down that stairs.
Then the acupuncturist went to China for a month, for a family emergency
She got back and we continue. We are really getting the angry spots.
I am rapidly improving.
Plus I have now added Cold Lazer Therapy
I sort of abandoned the chiropractic as I feel it wasn't really helping me much anymore.
Due to leg and joint pain I went back to wearing my old Chaco sandals.
They are not very pretty, but they sure are soothing to my legs and are very comfortable for walking and standing.
Fall is coming. I am going to need warmer closed shoes. I was so happy to find that Chaco now makes closed shoes. {actually the newer styles of sandals are way cuter too} They are halfway decent looking shoes. Casual, not dressy, but they are great for work.

I am on the mend!!

I am riding my horses regularly again. Riding is pretty comfortable and in riding I find the spots we still need to work on. It is very defining.

It's a good thing I am feeling better and more comfortably mobile!

There is so much going on with the family and on the home front.

In July we moved the middle son to his own Condo. That is where I fell down the stairs, helping move him.

The younger son bought a house. They will move in the first week of November. This is the son and his family who have been living in the tiny apartment. Such a celebration this will be. It is happening the same week end that we have a wedding of a grand niece. Mike and I are invited, not our kids. Mike's Sis will be up from TX and they expect some partying to be going on. We will be bowing out, except for the wedding for a few hours. We want to help with the moving. Next year, Blake's birthday party can be at their own house!

Our eldest son started a new, much better job the end of May. He is loving the job and doing so much better financially. He wants to start buying our little farmette from us, on a land contract, Next year we can be more serious about that.

We just hang in there.
Was this not supposed to be a less busy time in our life....sort of a dial down era?
When does that happen?

Be Well My Friends,
For The Love Of Health!

Hope you are healing well. Tough thing about that fall down the stairs and subsequent meds and therapy.
