Day 2: 21 Day Sugar Challenge - Pinpoint your problems

Day 2 is all about finding out when and where your sugar cravings occur. Few of us will be craving sugar ALL day, most of us find our cravings only tend to become a problem at certain times of the day or when we are feeling a certain way. My task today is write up anytime I feel I need sugar: what time of day it is, what I'm feeling, where I am etc
Today I did great and only craved sugar late last night. I just wanted something sweet. I wrote in my journal and discovered that I wasn't really hungry, I was just bored. So I went to bed with a cup of tea and a book and within seconds the thoughts of sugar were gone.
I write my food diary every day religiously but this is the first time I've written about how my feelings were impacting on my need to eat. It actually really helped and not only did it get me in touch with the feelings behind my food cravings it kept me busy which meant that I was able to let the craving pass.
