800 calorie blood sugar diet - Day 4

Can I be clear here, I am not recommending this diet I am just trying it and reporting on how I get on. I have seen my doctor and will be seeing him again in 6 weeks. I will monitor myself regularly. If you want to follow such a strict diet you should talk to your doctor. Also my husband is going to keep a close eye on me for any signs of hypo. GOOD MORNING

Fasting blood glucose 153
Weight not done today
Waist measurement 41 inches (down from 44 inches in 1 day)
Insulin given last night 37 units - kept it the same as I decided too early to reduce
Calories yesterday: 795

Breakfast: grilled mushrooms stuffed with spinach and chick peas Calories 150

Dinner: beetroot falafels with Greek yogurt dip Calories 290

Once again I am full to bursting, recipe made 4 falafels but only ate 3 so I have saved one for my evening snack. The point of the diet that it contains 'good' carbs that keep you full for longer, they have a low glycemic index.

Do I miss anything. Well hubby had chips with his frittata last night and I could have killed him to get some off his plate (though I cooked them). Resisted. I like a square of dark chocolate after my evening meal which I can have but only if I have enough calories left over. I did yesterday so had a small square and cherished it. I normally have one coffee per day after lunch but as I am fussy about the taste I have a spoonful of drinking chocolate mixed in. Can't do that so not having the coffee at all.

30 minutes swim plus done the 5 strength exercises Dr Mosley recommends

Evening blood glucose 92 - very good

Dinner: Chicken stir fry Calories 340

Total Calories 780
