Diagnosed with Diverticulitis

Saturday, June 18, 2016

Yesterday I woke up with servere pain in my lower left abdominal area. I also had other symptoms like nausea, and fever. I couldn't even walk, the pain was too servere. I decided to go to the Emergency Room and after a few blood test and a CT Scan I was told that I have Diverticulitis. A few weeks ago, I started my weight loss journey... I was on a roll. I was getting up going for walks, exercising and eating healthy. Now I'm on bed rest for a few days. Thinking about my health overall, I'm feeling motivated to lose this weight to get healthier. Now that it's clear I need to add more additional fiber to my diet, and stay away from certain foods, I'm ready to continue my journey. I have Diabetes, Neuropathy, and Diverticulitis/Diverticulosis and I'm only 34. I need to get this under control !!!! Pray for me !!!!

Sorry about your setback, and I hope you're feeling better soon! You already made the biggest decision to take care of yourself, so keep it up! Avoid refined sugar and processed foods. Natural eating is the best thing you can do for your health.
