A brief update

I'm still here, still Sparking, and making real progress towards getting back down to a healthy weight.
These days my food is mostly paleo plus beans, some dairy, and the occasional dessert or alcoholic drink. I am 100% gluten free, and try to keep grains and sugar to a minimum. I'm aiming for 1600 calories a day, with the expectation of maintaining about a 1 pound per week weight loss.
On the exercise front I wear my Fitbit Charge HR religiously, beat my goal of 10,000 steps most days, do a 10-15 minute body weight circuit a few times a week, and get outdoors as often as I can. I walk to work every day, try to hike at least once a week, and am just getting back into C25K after a flare up of plantar fasciitis this winter.
I've been using SP on and off for almost five years now, and I have learned so much from friends I have met through various groups and challenges. Just want to say thank you to everyone who stops by for being so supportive these past five years! I'm still going strong and I hope you all are too.
