Making changes, feeling encouraged

I listened to "Extreme Transformation" by Chris and Heidi Powell. Since finishing the book, I've changed my morning so that now I drink 12 ounces of milk with protein powder as soon as I get up in the morning.
I also stopped using dining out as an excuse to "eat whatever I want." I've finally learned that it's important to make good choices when eating at a restaurant as well as at home.
I'm also drinking a lot more water than I had been in the past.
I plan to weigh myself in a couple of days to see if my changes are making a difference. Even if I don't see the results I hope for on the scale, I still plan to stick with these changes. I'm sure in the long run, these changes will prove to be good for my health and my figure.
